Last year Swan Hills Swimming Club did not have enough members to field a Premiership team for B Divison. Without a team competing, Swan Hills was relegated to E Division. Our goal has been to get Swan Hills back on track, with our eyes set on entering A Division in 4 years time. We were able to take a step in the right direction on Feb 12th, winning the E Division Premiership against Thornlie and Balga.
The team did exceptionally well at cheering each other on, and being very supportive of all swims. Special mention to Rebecca Yovanche and Olivia Smith, who were very loud, and really got into the team spirit. It was great to see such a powerful team effort from our club – well done to everyone involved for helping to turn around Swan Hills. Let’s bring on D Division in 2013!
